The orchestral score for Legally Blonde is large and features several prominent roles for many of the musicians in the pit. The music - based around the central rock band core - is of intermediate difficulty (with an occasional demanding passage here and there) and you will be asked to work hard on developing a tight ensemble for this show. Your efforts will be highly rewarded.

The ensemble includes:

Trap Kit (Drum set)

Bass Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Fretless, and 5-string)

Guitar (Electric, Acoustic, Mandolin, Nylon, Steel, 12-string)

Keyboard Synthesizers (three parts for three players!)

Strings:

Violins (we can never have enough, so sign up and bring all your friends!)

Woodwinds:

Piccolo, Flute, Clarinet, English Horn, Oboe, Alto Sax, Baritone Sax.

Brass:

Trumpet, Fluegelhorn, Tenor Trombone, Bass Trombone.

Percussion & Drums:

Drum Kit plus Bell Tree, Bicycle Bells, Cabasa, Claves, Cowbell, Cymbals, Maracas, Mark Tree, Piatti, Police Whistle, Tambourine, Temple Blocks, Traps, Triangle, Wood Block.
